About me…

img_4995-2

Hey there, thanks for stopping by!  My name is Darcie and I love deep chats and coffee shops. I’m a lover of all things creative. I’m practicing how to embrace the tension of being a nester and an adventurer. I love hanging out with youth, going on adventures, playing sports, working out, and learning to take care of my home. Currently, I work part-time as a social media director for a non-profit organization and I spend the rest of my time working as the youth director at my church (super awesome fun)!  I’m passionate about people, about equipping local churches to thrive, and about all things to do with social networking and communications! In my spare time you can find me blogging at a local coffee shop, hanging out with youth, or catching up on the latest chick flick. The views expressed on this blog are those of my own, except for those guest posts of course. I hope you leave encouraged, inspired or simply with something new to think about.

  1. Hi Darcie, Your blog looks great. It’s been a while since we worked together (several years) – it is nice to “catch up” with you on here and read your thoughts and see how well you are doing!
    Keep it up!

  2. I am just a random surfing reader out there, but I just wanted to say that you have a real talent of expression and a unique voice. You are very insightful. Thanks for explaining about that Michael Angelo painting. I grew up in the art world, but I had never seen this, this never occurred to me. I will never see it the same way again. I love your style and your delivery and I wish you well.

  3. Hi Darcie, my friend Sarah knew you through school and shared a link this morning to your May 28 post entitled “I thought God forgot about me” I was touched to know that I am not the only one struggling through this “transition.” How did you allow yourself to let go? I know it’s spiritual but what about tangible? Does that make sense?

I love your blog and look forward to reading through your archives. Thank you.
